CLASS
INFORMATION

Your class will be completed in one 8-hour day.
We will begin at 8:45 am and finish no later than 5:00 pm.

Our .22 caliber target pistols, ammunition, ear protection and eye protection will be provided for your use.

The cost of our class is $100.00 with advance deposit/payment, or $110 at the door. Bring a friend and each person will qualify for an additional $10.00 discount. A deposit of $35.00 will reserve your seat in the class. The remaining fee must be paid no later than the morning of your instruction. Walk-in's are accepted on a first come, space available basis.

Your day will begin with classroom instruction, conducted in the meeting room of the Super 8 in Pevely, MO.

Range exercises are completed at the private Windsor Lake Rod & Gun Club's outdoor shooting range.

You will NOT be distracted by other shooters, firing large caliber weapons.

We combine range activities with our lunch break, giving you the opportunity to enjoy your lunch, picnic style, at the Windsor Lake Rod & Gun Club, if you choose and weather permits.

Topics that will be covered include:

Ø Firearm safety in the home, on the range and while carrying or transporting the firearm.
Ø The basic principles of marksmanship for both target shooting and self-defense.
Ø The care and cleaning of firearms.
Ø Proper storage of firearms in the home.
Ø Requirements of the State to purchase, sell or otherwise transfer ownership of a concealable firearm.
Ø Requirements of the state to obtain a concealed carry endorsement.
Ø How to obtain legal advise on firearm laws and the justifiable use of force.
Ø What to expect from your own reactions to stress in an emergency.
